After experimenting with natural dye for daily practices, I found that I deeply enjoyed the natural details and patterns the dye created on cotton Khadi paper. Although I typically dye onto paper, I wanted to create one of a kind yardage that was dyed with only the use of flowers. Inspired by what was growing in the community garden during a summer spent in Savannah, GA, I decided to eco bundle silk using only orange cosmos and yellow coreopsises in order to develop organic pattern making techniques.
